Stop! Seriously??? That's totally possible though. I was imagining your car be around the 3.5 mark but I can imagine it closer to 3.0 if not under it. I mean once you have turbos in, you will be solidly under 2.5 at this rate. Holy shit!!

Yup wedge is out of Germany. Their guy Steve owns a 2 series as well and shares a lot in the Facebook groups.

Interesting that he needed a custom tune to do that. Im pretty sure MHD OTS maps are beating those numbers.

I misunderstood when I quoted you in this thread; I didn't realize you had upgraded turbos. And the OP didn't realize that either.

You have upgraded turbos that's why you needed a custom tune. Got it! Makes sense.

just a brief update for everyone. Thursday I spoke with MHD by email about the logs I shared on e30 Stage 2+

Monday morning I received an email from one of the Founder of Engine Calibration at PureBoost with a custom tune to try on my car.

that type of customer service is truly impressive.

Great numbers. I'm consistently getting 3.8s with my Dinan intake and Elite V2. Nearly a half second is huge down in that range.

BimBim has been killing it on the Politics/Religion pages. I've been tracking him for a good laugh, and to make sure he's staying on his meds

It is fun getting the masses riled up.

If you're getting down in that range, you might want to start looking under the car as well (suspension, mounts, etc..). I would also keep an eye (or ear) on the internals. The B58 can handle a lot, but there is a threshold before boom boom doom.

Oh definitely keep an eye out on the logs. Our OG B58s have documented scoring issues with cylinder 2 and 5 specifically.

Spark plugs are always a contentious topic. Definitely consult with your custom tuner on that, and run it by the heavyweight experts on these forums. Data will keep your wallet safe.
