Temperature Warning

I am not trying to start a debate on the value of the 37 degree f. temperature warning. However, I do not like it. Has anyone been successful in coding it out? Stephen from BimmerCode suggested that no one has. But I'm wondering if some of the more sophisticated users maybe using E-sys have figured it out. Thanks.

I haven't read of it successfully being disabled.

I wonder why you would want to do that? Below that temperature there's a risk that the ground is frozen and that you hit slippery parts.

Because there is an outside temp gauge. Why would I need something to tell me? It's below 37 degrees?

I agree with you 99% There is that 1% when you are driving and there is a sudden change in altitude and the temp dips a few degrees. It happens to me when I drive upstate NY The further north you go the temp starts to drop.

If only it weren't the same sound as a drivetrain malfunction, gives me a heart attack every time

There are lots of risks that don't need a warning flashed with an alarm sound. Some drivers like to be aware of the temperature and road conditions without a computer alerting them. Somehow many of us survived driving to this point without it. Regardless the OP clearly just wants to know if it can be removed and even stated let's not make this about whether it should be done. I agree with you OP. It seems like there's not a solution.
