Wireless Apple CarPlay on M240i
So just found my 2017 M240i is able to connect Apple CarPlay wirelessly. I thought G30 5 series will be the first car with this feature! Anyone else have tried this?

Oh, I actually thought that was the only way it would connect. However, I did get some skipping that I didn't get using iDrive - I'll try plugging it in next time.

The thing is BMW boasts so much about this feature on G30 5 series, and claimed it's the first car can do this wirelessly. Kinda surprised it's already there on our 2er!

I like wireless car play. I wouldn't say it's really needed for $300 but it looks nice if you're an Apple fan and want to spend the $300 for the UI. I don't really see a need for it yet.

This is certainly not accurate for G30 then?

Is this something that can be coded to enable, as I didn't get it (although the dealer said it was rubbish?)
