God I hate doin' windows

Not sure if I asked or mentioned.

This weekend I "semi-detailed" my BMW and the OHs's Dodge.
Hose, bucket, sponge and zymol shampoo.
Did the wheels with mothers cleaner
hosed down the bodywork, shampoo, rinse, then big plush towel
did the windows and then the hoovered the interior and also used some interior cleaner

Must point out after the STEMI I am so tired even doing little things, but I soldier'd through. my BM took about an hour or 2, the Dodge on the other hand, my OH is a total fudgeing pig, disgusting interior, spilt syrup, chips, fries, butter packets, the trashcan is cleaner.

Took ME over 3-4 hours and it still wasn't 100%

So Windows, I used to like a UK product (forget the name) it went on liquid, you wipe to a haze, leave it to dry, it goes like chaulk, then wipe off, totally awesome product.

CANNOT find it for love nor money here, was using "invisible glass" a very weird product, it goes on in spray and no matter how much you wipe it doesnt come off, after you leave it to dry it kinda evaporates.

I've had mixed results, sometimes it works sometimes it leaves smears

And DONT get me started on cleaning the inside of the windscreen

Any TIPs on window cleaning pls.

Mind you both cars look 110% better !

These things make getting into the corners of the front and back windows much easier.

I feel the same when I was using Rain-X, currently use Invisible glass; try using a "waffle weave" microfiber when doing the windows, it has been a game changer for me when I'm detailing the car especially the windows.

I forget to mention, I think I've perfected my windows cleaning, invisible glass is good, must make sure you use CLEAN MF cloths and ignore the streaking, it's likely the alcohol, I also got a window pad ($10-Simonize) from Canadian Tire. That is a big changer especially for the fron and rear window.

It's extendable and you can apply more and preassure and use it more evenly

I think I'm totally good now !

Cheers all
