Happy New Owner

I hope everyone is doing well. Just wanted to check in and say hello. I traded my 2017 X5M in yesterday for a 2018 M240i. It will be my wife's daily driver and likely my fun project car. Already reading your posts on mods etc. Look forward to asking you all a million questions!

Welcome! We're doing something similar - moving my wife from her F30 328iX into a 2015 228i 6-speed coupe with 17K miles, purchased from a fastidious friend.

Welcome! Be sure to let your spouse drive it occasionally now that she fell for the "daily driver" ruse.

That drop top combo with the lighter colored interior looks really good.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! I have to say that this car is super fun. I have to be honest and say that when I decided it was time for my X5M to go that I would be sad and miss it. So far I can honestly say that this little car fits the bill and satisfies my fun factor need. It is such a fast and fun to drive car and would hold its own against my previous M for sure. The list of things I already want to do are as follows. Anyone wanting to lend advice on any single item is welcomed and wanted.

Rear carbon fiber spoiler (currently thinking BMW M) Just like the look
Down Pipe (currently thinking CG due to no CEL)
Intake (currently thinking dinan due to looks)
Tint the windows moderately
Tires, wide as I can get with best grip (researching)
Tune (JB4 or Racechip)
Exhaust only if the other items do not achieve the desired sound results
Thinking of taking a sawsall to the rear headrests lol

Shoot holes in it as needed for good advice.

Thanks again, Nuck

Beautiful car. Congratulations and welcome. I tend to lean towards the visual mods so my recommendation is go with the BMW performance carbon fiber spoiler. I also have my mirror covers wrapped in gloss black as the stock gray doesn't match anything. Of course if you go with the carbon you can match it with the carbon mirror covers. Good luck!

A bit bitter sweet tonight when I found the beast listed for sale hahahaha sniff sniff.

Ordered the Dinan intake, BMW Performance CF spoiler and front splitter tonight. I will likely purchase the racechip gts next week. Will post pics once installed. Plan on tinting the windows this week. Tires will be replaced soon once I roast the run flats. I want the CF mirror caps but $700 seems stout so I need to cool off a bit.
