Thanks,. and yes I finally got some information back from the dealer. I think they didn't have a allocation at the time I put money down. It was about a month and a half before they gave me any tracking numbers. Currently it's on the ship and they said it's supposed to be in Port on January 13.

Ship arrived in port last night (Port Hueneme in Oxnard, CA). Should be seeing it at the dealer within a few days.

Congrats! You're almost there! Mine is still in "scheduled for production" mode. It should start first week of Feb or so.

Here are a few pics. The wood trim is called Fine-wood Fineline.

The wheels and tires were a surprise as we had spec'd it with the M Double spoke bi-color wheels and all season run-flats but instead got double spoke in Orbit Grey and Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. I went back to the configurator and those wheels and tires are not listed as an option, so I'm not sure how or why that happened. In the end, our SA got us another $1,000 off due to the mix up.

Also, I didn't want to pay $210 for a black grille, so we kept the stock one with chrome surround. I don't really like that much so I'm shopping for something to replace it with; it seems the after-market choices are gloss black, flat black, or carbon fiber, which is what I'm leaning towards. If I go with carbon fiber, I just might have to get the mirror caps in CF as well.

That's very strange, as they stopped offering those wheels with LCI AFAIK. I'd be glad to get the PSS instead of the run-flats though, hopefully you're happy with them.

I cross-posted over here and we got a good discussion going. It seems that those wheels will be the default on the xDrive M240i if you don't pick a specific wheel in the build order. You can actually do it in the configurator on BMW's website too. Since my original build was done correctly when I did it online, I'm guessing my dealer didn't pick a wheel when doing the actual order.
