2016 BMW 228i exhaust fitment question

I am looking to do a muffler delete. I have found a cat-back bypass set up I want to try, but it says that it fits a 235i. So my question is, will the set up said to basically be plug and play in the 235, be the same in a 228?

I don’t know for sure, but the M235i is a 6 cylinder engine while the 228i is a 4. So I doubt it will work.

I think you might be able to cross shop some 328 systems, but probably not 235. I know there is a really nice muffler delete that I'm thinking about.
