BMW connected drive - concierge service
Not sure if in the right place ?
But did BMW suddenly stop concierge service. It was working a few weeks ago, now the option is missing from the connected drive menu also customer services support from the idrive comes back on audio with a busy tone roadside assist works fine on the phone to BMW now, car build 2019, year listed as 2020, bought in 2021, as new inventory from dealer. How do I know if a subscription has ended ? usually 4 years right ? I would guess 2023 txs |

well a very interesting convo with BMW, looks like they stopped it
some people who paid for the extended, have it till it runs out looks like my existing services are available till 2023 looked at other unavailable and concierge was not there that I could see anyone else confirm this damn, no more, looking for pizza places |

when I found out I could ring up BMW and ask silly questions I was hooked LOLOL
loved ringing them especially when I was on the road or out of time, could not use my phone etc "hi can you just send me the gps for" "can you check this address for me" "I'm in bordemsville, wheres the closest strip club" LOL |

have my car in today, even the SA tried to convince me that the concierge was a subscription thing which had probably finished.
so 4 hours in also with another issue, they confirmed my concierge IS a problem, they have logged a ticket with BMW and probably need it over night maybe needs to be reprogrammed by BMW, errrmmm BMW, they are BMW are they not LOL at least I'm happy they found something actually when I logged on using ISTA, it said it had found some serious issue (forget the actual wording) with some unit and it needed to be reported to the dealer LOL maybe they will reflash the car and the other issue will resolve |

incase anyone wants to know the steps BMW took
1. verified connected drive malfunction: concierge services and remote app functions inop. 2. veh scan - no related fault codes b) charged batt 3. a) test plan: connected drive b) check of connected drive - tcu ICC ID number correct (referenced deal cockpit) - contract active - services active - country, account and sim card active c) deleted paired devices and attempted to update online services - failed to update d) hard reset performed - fault persists ---suspect software error 4. programmed vehicle b) initialized tpm, windows c) cleared faults d) updated online services CORRECTION: 4. programmed vehicle b) initialized tpm, windows c) cleared faults d) updated online services Connected Drive remote services now active and working Concierge services still missing in vehicle menu 5. Tsara case created - backend issue corrected 6. Updated online services again Concierge services now functional |

yes that's what I was hoping, I hate when people post things, and you never find out what happened.
Have goodled answers from forums over 5, 6 years old and seen answers, thxs for your thoughtful reply |
