Adding sound deadening to vert doors?

So I'm interested in swapping out my base sound system (fronts only) and I was wondering whether I should bother putting in sound deadening material in the doors while they were pulled apart.
I have no intention of opening up the rear panels and would at most apply some material in the wheel wells.
Since I have a convertible would adding sound deadening to the doors and maybe the wheel wells even make a noticeable difference? I dont feel the cabin is noisy but since I'll be pulling the door panels I might as well ask for opinions. At least i could save the 100-200 in material cost if it wont do much.

I had it put in my doors and my trunk.

It definitely has made the 'cockpit' a lot quieter in relation to freeway noise and all that.

Not sure as for the sound of the system as I had the door and rear speakers swapped out too, so it was going to sound better regardless.

Itís not a difficult DIY. I bought RoadKill off Amazon. I use paper for templates. Worked well.

one layer of dynamat on the inside skin of the door, then a layer of 1/4 inch closed cell foam, layer of dynamat on the outer skin of the door, and a layer of 1/4 inch closed cell foam. Made sure all holes are covered. Not sure i can hear any difference, especially with the top down.
