Yes I know BM3 is the way to go, but I can get a used JB Plus for $125 and have some questions.

1. Is anyone running one of these on their M235i?
2. For how many miles/km have you been running it?
3. Is it safe to use or could it possibly damage the engine?
4. What did it do to your gas mileage?
5. Any issues running this on an xDrive?
6. Did it feel like it actually added HP or were the gains minimal?
7. Any known issues with this device?

Its safe, make noticeable power, is easy to install/uninstall

have one with a k & n filter works great, definitely see an overall improvement
with power and torque..no issues
gas mileage unless your foot "in it" all the time very little difference..maybe a mile or 2 loss in mpg

I had mine on now for about 2yrs and 25k miles. No issues. I just ordered BM3 during the Black Friday sale along with an intercooler and TIP. Merry Christmas to me. Thanks @mike@x-ph. I also had bought my JB+ used. My only and it’s minor complaint, is that it seems sometimes a little inconsistent. I do have a high flow cat.
