picked up a new single replacement wheel for my 235, when I got home I noticed a chip on the inside rim.

would you accept this, or will corrosion cause the finish to start to peel there.

It's pretty minor to me, I'd just touch it up with clear coat to prevent any potential rust.

Thank You. It is very minor. I may must do that with the clear coat.
the wheel was kinda expensive at over $530 and didn't understand why they didn't package the wheels better.

For a new wheel at that price, if it was me, I'd send it back and ask for a replacement.

Call up wherever you bought it and tell them about it. Offer pics. Ask how they'd like to handle it. They may say send it back, may offer a partial refund.

dealer is exchanging it, the counter person was very nice she showed it to the manager and got the o.k..
