They are apex Ec-7s in anthracite. They probably look matte black because they're caked in brake dust lol

Lol. Well they look fantastic! I'm shopping for some new rims when my rubber wears out on the current set. I really like the way they look. Where did you pick them up?

Thanks! I bought them right from Apex (ApexRaceparts.com)

I got them during during a group buy which got $250 off the set. I think they may have a 20% off sale going on right now.

I would definitely look into them if you're getting new wheels. I originally decided on these because they look like the e9x competition wheels from back in the day, which I always loved. They're also light ~19lbs and flow formed.

Another cool part is that they're exact hub bore so you don't need any hub centric rings. I also bought 5mm spacers (also hub centric), a wheel stud conversion, and oem tpms from apex. If you buy tires from them they'll also mount and balance for you.

I'm not affiliated with Apex (I wish I was), I just really like their products.

Estoril M240 with Brown Top

I've been a lurker on the forum for a while and now that I have taken delivery of my M240, I thought I would post. Not looking for any affirmations nor criticisms of my choice.... just want to provide a bit of public service and entertainment since there are very few pics out there of 2-series verts with brown tops (especially Estorils).

What are the spec's on these? Square setup or staggered? Original rubber?

Love the look and wondering if 8.5" up front and 9" rear will work with original PSS tires without too much stretch or poke.

They are 18x8.5 et45 with a 5mm spacer up front. I've had a couple different sets of 235f/245r.

Stock size in the rear would work, but a 225 up front is a bit narrow for a 8.5 wheel.

Thanks K8. I suspected 225 on 8.5" would likely be too stretched (at least for my liking).

Trying to figure out a way to add side skirts on my leased 2017 m240i that won't need me to drill extra holes? Anyone have an idea or a recommendation on an aftermarket set?

Thought the Estoril Blue post needed some love so here is a pic we took recently on Mnt Tam in California. You can barely see The City in the background through all the fog that day.

Only problem is on Saturdays you have to avoid cyclists and inevitably get stuck behind slow drivers

I noticed that majority of posts are of 235s and 240s but I’ll post my 228i xdrive here just to represent for the vert owners . I also think my 461s and the Oyster leather go well together. Still getting used to the really small rear window (wish I had the parking distance sensor in the back).

No mods, contemplating black grills and minor coding.

Nice!! Take out the rear headrest. On my 2015 228 vert they slid right out.
On my 2018 230 vert you need to pinch the clamp (many post on here) to remove.

These painted reflectors are stupidly expensive for what they are, but I really do like how they look.
