swapping headlights?
Hi All,
Just got a 2016 228i with M-sport package and was wondering if it is possible to switch the headlight to the 2019 (the more hexagonal one) headlights? Cheers |

It is possible, however it is going to be expensive. approx $4k USD
IND have a kit, you need the new headlights + modules + wire harness + coding https://ind-distribution.com/product?sku=IND-F87LCI-HRK

There's a 'sort of' cheaper option, but you'll have to contact Lightwerkz to get a quote. It didn't cost me $4,000, however.
https://www.lightwerkz.net/index.php/contact-us/ I went with them to get my retrofit Bi-Xenon w/LED Haols headlights. There's a lot of options available, but I decided to stick with a 'factory lighting package upgrade', because I like the subtlety of it as well as the looks. |
