O.Z. Leggera HLT

Looking at O.Z. Leggera HLT 18x8 45mm offset for a "square" set up on an incoming M240i

https://www.ozracing.com/alloy-wheel...ch/leggera-hlt

Some questions:

TUV. Are these wheels (i.e. this specific model) TUV certified?

Offset. I want to be sure the wheels fit with no rubbing and good clearance. Is the 45mm offset the right offset? Ideally, I want them to be as close to the fenders as possible without any chance of rubbing.

Tire Width. How wide can I go tire-wise? Should stay with 225s? Are 235s all around "safe" (no rubbing, interference)? I do not want to deviate from normal factory-recommended camber.

Tires. Opinion of the Michelin Pilot Sport PS4 vs Super Sports or PS2s? I have and have had the SS and PS2s. This will be for summer driving as I have dedicated snow wheels/tires for winter here in Seattle.

Brake Dust. I have had lots of BMWs and the factory brake pads throw massive dust. Opinion of ceramic coating on the wheels to help keep them clean / easier to clean?

Thanks very much.

18x8 +45 you'll still be tucked in a bit. I'm on 18x8 +40 and I'm almost flush but could use another 3-5mm. I'd say ideally you'd want an offset of 35-40 for a flush look. I have a squared 18x8 wheel set up on staggered tires 225/40 front and 245/35 rear. I also use Rim Wax maybe once every 4-6 weeks and it really helps to keep the dust off the wheels.

Here's the 18x8 +40 225/40 front and 245/35 rear to give you an idea of what it will look like to help your decision making.

Super helpful. Thank you very much.

Out of curiosity, which wheels are the ones shown in the photos?

Would a spacer help, particularly if I used 225/40s on the rear?

Thanks again.

As above I have OZ Allegeritta in 8Jx18 ET40 all round, fitted with MPSS 245's.

I wouldn't fit 225 on the rear, way too small.

Thanks and I agree that the 225s for the rear.

If I go with the HLTs, I may use a 5mm spacer.

Any rubbing issues with the 245s? did you need to adjust the camber?
