Mold on HK Woofer??

So I installed some Bavsound Ghosts and was getting my HK system ready for sale. They sounded absolutely perfect and looked good, but one woofer (driver side) had white stuff in the center and a bit on the membrane.

Im not sure if its mold, corrosion, or what.

Anyone know what it is and how I might try to clean it??

Any idea what the metal magnet is made from? Maybe I can then google how to clean this type of metal without damaging it.

Listen, jerk, before you begin to trash something why not ask about it in further detail?
The system plays PERFECTLY up until the day I removed it to install Bavsound. Something was clearly spilled on it, that did not affect the sound or performance one iota.
So YES, I'd like to clean it and bring it back to as printine condition as possible before offering it for someone else with the base system or in need of a USED replacement to enjoy.
Is that ok with you?

And if I wasn't interested in being forthcoming, would I ever have posted it here asking for assistance?
If you want brand new, retail price, and perfect, Im sure your local BMW dealer would be happy to take your money.
