Blackvue DR900S/android/airplane mode
I just got a DR900S, but in order to get it to connect to wifi, I must to be in airplane mode first, and then turn on wifi. As soon as I turn airplane mode back off, the blackvue won't connect to wifi.... Has anyone else had this and know how to fix it? I have a Pixel 2 - is it the phone? I just took it to the place I got it, they redid the firmware upgrade and that helped, they seemed to think everything would be fine... (blackboxmycar were really good to deal with)

Do you have the latest version of the app? I know on iOS, there was a WiFi issue, related to a firmware update and old app not connecting.

- I called Blackvue (it's awesome they have a number you can call where someone actually picks up and knows what they're doing) - the connectivity issue I'm having is a known issue they're working on, not a fault of hardware (the guys at blackboxmycar were correct)... I'm going to try a different phone to see if that makes a difference
I can make it work, but it's not ideal - thought about switching to a thinkware, but decided to stick it out till the next firmware update, and I don't want to lose the 4k... |

The guys at blackbox are awesome ... no question.
My Blackvue does not have this problem (DR590W) so it is likely a firmware issue and up to Blackvue to fix. |
