According to a Dinan rep the first batch of 75 intakes from their supplier should be in on the 15th.

Should would be nice if you could order the CAI, so I won't buy an Eventuri, and choke on the price of that. By the way 11k miles on my stage 1 and no CELs.

Well my CEL came back.

Car is definitely making too much boost, downright scary if I put my foot into it.

Called my dealer and they told me there have been a few other M240i's with the same issue and its usually the Dinan harness.

Dropping it off tomorrow.

Dinan get your sh_t together. I've already had mine in for a CEL once already.

When you too much boost, what happens that leads you to believe this, like how do you quantify there is too much boost?

Well when I'm going 40 and put my foot down and the rear end completely breaks loose so badly I almost loose control of the car.

The car is making an abmormal amount of power.

Tonight the cel went back off and now the car feels lethargic.
I can put my foot in it now and tires don't even squeal. In fact if I hammer it there is a slight hesitation.

I want this kind of power all the time. I will soon enough, the goal is 550 to the wheels.

So I picked up my car from the dealer this morning.
They gave me a loaner the past week and everything was completely free and covered under warranty.

My rep told me there was a short in the Dinan harness causing too much boost signal to be sent and then it would eventually trigger the engine to cut boost as a safety measure.

Rep said they replaced the Dinan harness with a new one.

Car ran beautifully on the way to work felt like it was making good power.

I'll see how long this lasts.
