B58 Turbo Upgrade

Has anyone done a turbo upgrade on the b58 motor yet? If so please tell me more. Haven’t seen many or any reviews!

I see in your sig that your running the pure stage 2 with some other mods that are very similar to mine minus the fuel mods. What kind of power are you putting down?

Considering the pure stage 2 myself. Anyone running this with an automatic? Can it handle that kind of power?

Never got the message in my email about your reply, sorry. But in all honesty haven't dyno'd it just because I am going stage 3+ with the big boost kit next month so saw no point in advancing on the PS2 platform or well investing more money into the PS2 platform. I can tell you it definitely halls ass. I have been hurting a lot of FBO mustang, Semi Built cars feelings here in GA. I would definitely tell you to upgrade the fuel options though if you want your engine to survive the beating you are putting on it with those mod upgrades haha

I am auto & have them installed no problems what so ever. I am also selling my kit if interested. They only have less than 17++ miles on it. If seriously interested let me know. Just FYI I don't need stock turbos so it wouldn't help if you were thinking to offer that idea. If you have any further questions though let me know.

Appreciate the offer. Not ready to pull the trigger just yet. Going to see what the car is like with a bef first. If anything changes I'll reach out.

As of right now nothing as far as HPFP, but we do have as everyone knows the meth kits and throttle body injection kit ( which in my opinion has come a long long way )

MissionPerformance is working on a HPFP, and sounds like they are expecting to release soon. Check out there Instagram for a post on the 8mm piston that is the bottleneck

He really does! I am actually going under the knife next week with his kit. Planned to put a post up with the process if work allows me... IF you are considering doing the upgrade I say go for it!

Hey all,

Got beat by a 19T N54, and realized its time to seriosuly map out my turbo upgrade path options.

Vehicle is a ZF8 M240i (F series) fbo with the TU pump.

It is not a a daily but would like to keep it fairly reliable for fun drives.

Please reply with options, dyno numbers and supporting mods needed for certain kits/ HP target numbers.

I do plan to go all the way, with built trans and full frame at some point.
