Do the m2 brakes fit?

I believe the calipers are the same but the rotor hat/hub has a different offset, IIRC. Was looking into this before as well. Ended up deciding the route to go with would be a 370mm F30 setup w/ m performance rotors. The M2/3/4 rotors are triple the price of OEM m235 rotors, double the price of M Performance rotors, and IMO not worth it unless it came that way from the factory.

What I'd really like to see is some proper 2 piece replacement rotors, to be used with factory calipers. One can dream..

No, sounds like you need to upgrade to the F8x standard or F30 msport calipers, which I believe are stamped 370. If the M2 brakes are the same as the M235i M Performance BBK, you can reference this thread http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1226936

Unless the 370mm rotors are actually lighter then I would not swap them using the stock caliper.

What about Ferodo pads?
On the M235 group on fb some people write negative comments about yellowstuff.
I dont want pads that dust more than oem.

I can only comment on what I've used.

Do you want better stopping power or clean wheels?
Yellowstuffs are fantastic for street use. I wash my car every week, so I live with the dust.

that's why I got gun metal color wheels... that way you don't really know when they are dirty or not

Yellowstuff are basically same as stock dust wise or maybe a little bit worse but I don't buy pads for the looks either....

. Did you upgrade rotors too? Or do you find the stock rotors to be compatible with the upgraded pad? I know, old thread
