How do you code oil temp into 2017 M240i?

I've been doing some Bimmercode coding but can't find an easy way to display oil temp in my 2017 M240iX, do you have to use advanced mode? If so how do I display the oil temp? Thanks

What shows up when you repeatedly push the button on the end of the turn signal stalk?

I have coded it in my 17'. However it doesn't work, sure it shows up on the kombi display but it doesn't read temperature. I've herd the coding works on 18s but not older ones.

I believe you had to order with an extended display option which gave you more info on the instrument cluster and a wider infotainment display. If you have that option you just cycle through the display options by pressing the button on the turn signal stalk.

That looks like an '18 though, which has a completely different cluster and re-added oil gauge IIRC.

Oh I was running under the assumption that after the LCI refresh in 2017 the 2018 model was essentially the same.

2017 was just new engine. LCI was 2018 (new cluster, new wheels, new interior trim, LED lights, etc.).
