PPF Mx40i resonator delete

Does anyone know if removing the resonator from my exhaust pipe throws up a cell..? I know that 1 of the resonators is the PPF so i want to remove the other one!

Thanks in advance..!

Can't imagine it would. I had the Dinan midpipe which effectively is just a straight pipe all the way to the muffler. No issues other then it was too loud for my tastes and my neighborhood.

I started out by removing the second one and had no issue. Shortly after I installed the Dinan midpipe together with a 200 cell catted downpipe...that threw a CEL.
