coding questions

I recently got the bimmercode app and veepeak adapter. I tried some coding today on my 2019 M240i and had a few questions I was hoping someone could answer.

1-Where in the bimmercode app do I go to clear a check engine light?

2-How do I activate the rear fogs? I modified the switch already and I found something in the bimmercode app about monitoring the voltage of the rear fogs but no option to turn them on.

3-I coded the mirrors to fold when I lock the car through comfort access but couldn't find a way to do it with the fob too. Is this possible?

thanks in advance for answers to these questions!

Bimmercode does not clear check engine. Bimerlink does

You have to go in expert mode in both FEM and REM see link below

Yes. Check the delay setting in FEM under comfort opening/closing
thanks in advance for answers to these questions!

You can try OBDFusion for your smartphone or tablet. Then go to E46Fanatics and search for threads OBDFusion in which jfoj has commented. He’s the guru. It’s a very capable app. I’ve used it for years on my E46 and on my F22. Done leave home without it.

Hi, I bought my f22 14", it was crashed and i am wondering if i can code/remove Active Pedestrian System. I am missing two sensors on the front bumper and they are expensive to replace so... I saw on the forums you can remove this option called 8TF on BMW f10.

yeah, it's possible to remove the active pedestrian system, just delete 8TF from your salapa elements, and VO code KAFAS module.

are you familiar with esys and VO coding? if not, feel free to ask me abt the details.

Goodluck!

And please note that you have to use esys in order to do VO Coding.

Hi, I did everything as it says here . I removed both 2VB and 8TF, coded all ECUs(including SALAPA2) and nothing happend. Both errors (Pedestrian and TPMS) is still showing.
PS: I disconnected all sensors for pedestrians before coding

Hey I redid everything once again and cleared all errors with E-Sys. Now everything works perfect. I don't anymore have Pedestrian warning, and iDrive shows RFT instead TPMS. Thanks guys very much, cheers.

EDIT: I noticed i cannot turn the ventilation off now. I can regulate it and all, but cannot turn it off.
