Bootmod3 stage 2 93 octane ots map users

Wondering if there are any high mileage fbo bootmod3 stage 2 93 octane m235i's out there. I want to know how reliable bootmod3 is compared to jb4. I currently have jb4 and would like to know anyone's experiences with bm3, specifically for the n55/m235i ewg owners.

Currently 45k miles, have had BM3 Stage 2 FBO for a year no issues so far.

80,000km been Stage 2 BM3 for 15,000km, no issues. Only thing I would mention, make sure your local gas is up to snuff for the 93 tune.

this is huge! I only have access to Petro94 or shell 91 and for some reason, when on 94 the car doesnt run as good and my mpg is worse.

Tried several times with the same result so I just stick with the 91.

both are very reliable, no issues as long as you are running the recommended map

Does it matter if it is 10% ethanol 93 or pure 93 octane for the BM3 93 octane map? I have both available in my city and was curious which is better. The pure 93 octane is a lot more expensive.

It does not matter, most of us use the 10% ethanol 91/93

Thanks Mike. Do you know if upgrade to the waste gate / diverter valve with BM3 stage 2 is needed / recommended? I tried looking around the forums but don't see much on this topic.

I looked in to this GFB DV+ upgrade. It's seems quite difficult on the M235i. Certainly would like to have this though. Will have to reach out to some local shops to see if they would install it for me once I get the BM3. Thanks Mike!

also.. i had both.....

BM3 is more power, more responsive, better interface and more settings..... Most importantly, 1 minute install and no glitches.. JB4 has massive choke issues

After going ahead with bootmod3 purchase. Been running the stage 2 93 AGG map for a couple weeks now. The power delivery is unbelievably smooth. With jb4 map 5 I always experienced uneven delivery

Apparently my local Shell V-Power does support the OTS Stage 2 93 tune well in my M2. PTF reviewed some logs and recommended stepping down to the 91 tune which is fine, but I definitely feel I lost some power.

It's only 10hp or so difference between 91 and 93.
