I have a set of style 264 laying in the garage that I got for cheap, before I send them to get refinished, has anyone installed 1 series on the 2er?

You should have no issues running that setup
Even if you were to run the 15mm front or 10mm rear, you should still have plenty of fender clearance http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator

I have snow tires mounted on 264's on my 228 MSport. Work fine. Don't have MSport brakes but there looks like plenty of clearance for them.

I actually do like the 264's better than the stock wheels. I just got them for mounting snow tires. No pictures and the car is so dirty, I don't want to take them. Easier to clean too.

Bumping an old thread - I know.
I picked up a set of these for winter tires for my M235i and after test fitting, I bought 12mm spacers for all 4 corners to try and address the brake clearance issues. They should be here tomorrow - I'll post up if that addresses the problem. |
