I am hoping they do as researching new winter tires and rims with TMPS is going be 1500. The TMPS are over 300. Why so expensive now? I remember getting them with my current winter tires and they were about 150 for a set.

Which means it's possible the TPMS units in our winter rims for our 135i's may not work with our new cars. |

I'm not sure if all TPMS system are the same, but when I read that coding can bring up temps in the tires, I had to get ones that came with the car. Others might just be able to sync, but does not have temp readings. I didn't want to risk that and got oem ones. |

I have the 18" sport edition style KV5 rims on my 135 as my winter setup and confirmed they fit my 235. There's about .5cm clearance from the spoke to the caliper on the front wheel. Plenty of clearence on the rear rim. Glad I went with 18" rims. 17" rims may not clear the calipers.

Fit?
Any update on the fitment of the KM11's? Just ordered a M235i yesterday, wondering if I need to sell my SE's and get new. Thanks!

I confirm 18" OEM 135i wheels do not fit the 228i M sport.
In detail, a have a set of OEM Style 372 18" wheels with 18 x 7.5 ET49 for fronts and 18 x 8.5 ET52 for rears. The rears do fit the car fine. But the fronts will touch the M Sport brake callipers. Does anyone know the minimal thickness of spacers to buy for the front wheels in order to clear the brakes? |

Sorry to bump this old thread, but what's the verdict for the 135i TMPS compatibility with the 2er? I'm reading conflicting information.

A friend of mine sold her e90 and purchased an f22. I recently installed a her 3-series wheels on the new 228i and the TMPS do NOT WORK. Since the e90 and e82 shared many components I'm guessing your 1-series TMPS will not work. Hope this is helpful.
