Arrow F22 v8 engine swap

Hi there, I’ve been looking into buying my first BMW and BMW engine swaps and stumbled across mr saugmotoren’s 116i with an e92 m3 v8 so I’ve been wondering if I could take inspiration from this and fit a f22 218i with a similar v8?

I was looking at the m240i and m2 however for me personally these don’t work as I’m 18 and don’t have the money for these+insurance so I thought I could get a 218i until insurance costs die down and I have more money to spend and then I could retrofit a v8 and end up with something more personal and with history.

This is of course, in very very early stages of even a concept but as I’m new to all this sort of stuff any help and advice on how I would go about this or if it’s even possible would be much appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to read and reply if you do.

You've got to PAY to play...

Fast/Reliable/Cheap

You only get two out of the three...

Fast & Reliable isn't Cheap
Cheap & Fast isn't Reliable
Reliable & Cheap isn't Fast!

Choose wisely!!!

Bottom line is, there are platforms that can be modded for reasonable costs and provide great returns. But BMW isn't one of them, just sayin'...

Good Luck

Do you know how I would go about checking engine compatibility, I.e. if the engine bay of the vehicle is big enough for the engine? Because I understand that lots of fabricating is required but for what I want modifying engine bay and bonnet to accommodate an engine is not something I want to do
