Rigidity: M performance or Blistein suspension and spring

I have sort of made up my mind, my m240i needs a more rigid suspension and spring. I don't care for lowering.Blistein B12 sport line suspension kit for m240i would cost £764 to buy whilst BMW m performance suspension checked against my car vin would cost £1350.00 and it says only with springs.

Does anybody have experience of either or preferably both

Thanks

According to what I've read, the Bilstein kit lowers the car by about 40mm. Plus, you lose the ability to change the tightness via the console switch (comfort to Sport).

Does the m performance suspension comes with only the springs?

In the UK, Adaptive Suspension is a cost option, and so quite a few M240i's over here only have passive suspension. For those cars the mode switch for ECO PRO/COMFORT/SPORT/SPORT+ only affects throttle responsiveness and steering weight.

What aspect of performance are you trying to improve? Is there too much body roll?

I have the B12 on my E82 (here because I'm shopping M240s) and it's excellent. It's quite firm but can take some hits from street driving.

I am beginning to change my mind. I have put the sport mode to only affect the drivetrain rather than chassis as well. I am a bit more okay with the suspension now. If in the future, I change the suspension, I would be going for m performance suspension. It seems is better and more reliable than Blestein and around the same price or Lowe than coilover but does not make noise and I would keep my warranty.

Not sure about the laws in your country but in the US any modifications can't just void the entire warranty. They have to prove that the modification caused whatever issue you've tried to make a claim against. So if your radio stopped working, some springs wouldn't invalidate that warranty repair.

I understand. It is just the time and ease. The car would be under comprehensive BMW insured warranty when it is 3 year old in April, which is extremely cheap for m240i (like about ⅓ cost of OG M2) The comprehensive warranty covers suspension until the car has done 100,000 miles. At least for now, I intend to keep the car for several years.

Dropping off the car to be repaired with a dealer is far easier than using independent specialists because of time involved.
