2018 m240i transmission operating temp 6mt

Question regarding 6mt transmission operating temps. I have searched and searched and haven’t been able to find a definitive number for the transmission operating temp of a bmw m240i 2018 6mt.

I ask because I recently applied a MHD stage 1 tune running on 93 octane. I also have a high flow, non-oiled air filter, as well as an ARM Midpipe with both resonators deleted.

After monitoring the transmission temps after the tune , which fluctuated between 190 degrees F and 230 degrees F, I am concerned about an increase in transmission temps.

After flashing back to stock and then monitoring the transmission temp, it would seem that the tune is more than likely responsible for a 7 degree increase, with number fluctuating from around 190 degrees F and 223 degrees F.

This increase seems marginal and I’m willing to accept that temp increase for the benefit of the tune, as long as these numbers fall within a normal operating range. BTW, engine oil stays solid at 228 degrees F to 231 degrees and boost never exceeds 17.3 psi.

Thanks in advance.

As far as I'm aware, the "transmission temperature" parameter is just based on formulas for 6MT cars, rather than an actual sensor. 230 Fahrenheit is just about what my car always reads once it's up to temp, I wouldn't be concerned. If you're really worried about it, change to a higher viscosity gear oil.
