From what I can tell they will be a much darker grey then the current wheels, very excited to be able to get a darker wheel without having to order the m performance 19"s

A Photoshop would be very nice. I think they'd look good on Mineral White.

Yeah, you can clearly see that on the photos in the ordering guide. Problem is that those photos are not in color so you really can't see the shade.

Thanks for posting the pic, but those are two tone (orbit grey/burnished) wheels (which I do happen to like a lot). But, based on the black and white photos in the 2016 235 order guide, it looks the entire wheel will be orbit grey. I do like the idea of a darker colored wheel, but I'm ordering a black metallic car, and am not quite sure how wheels that are 100% orbit grey will look with that paint color. Any one have any thoughts? Thanks.

cheers thanks - this is the only thing making me regret not waiting for the 2016 model cause I think it would look super sharp with dark wheels but I guess I saved some money on the lower MSRP since I didnt get the premium package

Any thoughts on how they'd look on an Estoril Blue M235i?

This angers me as I would have much preferred the Orbit Grey over Ferric Grey, and just did ED last month. Not as if I could of waited anyway.

I ordered my 2016 Alpine White with Orbit Grey wheels and in fact is a NO cost option. My production date is set for July 27,2015.

I just saw a picture from BMW but I can't post it yet. But is just like the color in the rear OEM diffuser.

BMW actually offer that wheel color option in other vehicles like the optional 19" wheels on some X5 models. It's hard to compare cause they use the Orbit Grey color with brushed Aluminum in the X5 19" wheels. Looks pretty dark but I think it's gonna look awesome on a Alpine or Mineral White car.

How do you think they would look on a black convertible with a black top? That's what we have on order, and we ordered the optional wheels sight unseen, but we still have time to change the order if we want.

I'm surprised, thought Orbit Grey would be significantly darker than that. The wheels in those pics seem much lighter in color versus the OEM rear diffuser.

I know! But they advertise those wheels as Orbit Grey. I think it depends on the angle of the picture. Will see...

Still have not been able to find a color photo of the Orbit Grey wheels that are optional on the '16 235. We ordered our black vert with standard black top with these wheels sight unseen, and still have time to change the order. Anybody come across a photo yet?
