mine tore on the hr springs w kmac plates, new set on dinan springs tore w gc plates, Third set tore on the dinan springs and kmac plates. Tear or wear is almost all at the end of the spring coil.

Best guess is either spring is rotating and pad is not, wearing. Or other theory is shocks are too weak for springs which is causing some wear.

Either way it is not a safety or noise issue so I am not concerned. At 12 bucks a side I will replace once a season with tear down inspection. With the heat from the brakes and engine they get pretty brittle anyway.

If that is the same bearing GC has been using since the E46 days, they will fail and fail again. The plastic bearing from the E46 M3 just doesn't belong in these camber plates. GC need to get back on the drawing board on this one.
