M-LSD service interval?

hey - does anyone know how often these need maintenance whether new fluid or clutch pak attention? street driving only, though i think the previous owner did auto-x and maybe a few track days.

thanks if anyone knows.

For street cars, after the initial 1,200 mi. break-in period Dan at Diffsonline recommends 24K oil change intervals for the diffs he builds. He recommends 12K intervals for cars that see autocross or the track. More here: https://diffsonline.com/bmw-differen...formation.html.

I imagine he'd recommend the same on a BMW clutch-pack diff. I believe BMW considers the diff to have a lifetime fill. I'm not 100% sure about that. A dealer should know.

You'll know it needs a rebuild when it starts slipping, just like a slipping clutch on a manual transmission car.

It's been about 18K miles since I had my MP LSD installed and I didn't have the fluid changed after 1200 mi. I suppose I should change it sooner rather than later. I guess Red Line 75W110 Synthetic is the recommended fluid, or is there a special fluid for the MP LSD?

Edit: I found it. It's 1 liter of 75W-140
