No more loaners???

Trying to schedule service, but I cannot find a BMW dealer offering loaner vehicles Checked a bunch in Florida and even a couple other states. Is this a Covid thing or is this permanent???

That does not appear to be the case:

i waited for my last service -- just the oil change -- and i couldve sworn i saw someone getting keys at the concierge desk where i've gotten them for previous loaners.

Yeah, I'll call the dealer down here in Orlando. Honestly, that is one reason why I buy a BMW or Lexus. I don't have time to wait there for several hours. I need to drop off and continue to customer appointments. I hope this is not the case.

Many dealers also now pick your car up and return it home / office / wherever free of charge. I haven't set foot in a dealership for any of my cars in 2020 and they've all been in for service.

Angry

Get this, Fields of Orlando have stated that since I never had a loaner there, they will not give me a loaner, as my service contract ran out last week. Additionally, they will not cover the service, even though I could not get back down to Florida until now due to Covid.

I brought the car in to Fields for new tires last year, but since they did not give me a loaner, I cannot get a loaner now. Seriously. I can't make this stuff up.

Now I have to call BMW of North America and try to plead my case in order to get the service covered by the service contract and get a loaner vehicle.

I might have to go back to Lexus. At least they take better care of their customers.
