First time modder questions about Bootmod3

Hey guys, just got my first BMW 2015 M235i. I want to do a stage 1 93 octane bootmod3 tune but I am confused with the ots maps. Does every bootmod3 have the same ots maps or do they differ depending on where you buy the liscence? Might be a stupid question, also how will the tune help with exhaust sound with OEM exhaust?

Go ahead and do your OTS tune.
You can customize the burbles but don't do a stage 2 if you have a stock CAT.

all OTS maps are the same. There's just different 'updates'. For example, i have 7.0 S1 on my car, but 7.1 exists.

A tune will not really affect your exhaust sound other than the burble, which is user customizable, but don't do a stage 2 with a stock exhaust system.

Thanks for the help! Exhaust wise would a axel back exhaust be a smart purchase or would something else be better?

Axle back is mainly for sound, best exhaust mod will be a down pipe.

the maps are the same no matter where you get it from unless you are buying a custom map.

The axle back is mainly for sound, power wise the best mods after the tune are the down pipe, inter cooler and inlet. A charge pipe is needed as well, the stock one is prone to failure

Ive done Stage 1 OTS and now i want Stage 2 OTS, my mechanic initially said to get stage 2 but since i didnt go DownPipe first i went stage 1. After being in a Stg2 F30 335, i shoulda done DownPipe first then ChargePipe,FMIC, Cold Air Intake.

Im glad you are enjoying the extra power

DP, CP, FMIC should all be done at the same time. the stock charge pipe will not last long on stage 2 power.
