I’ll be able to tell everyone the max soon enough. I’m about to be sitting between 600-700HP and who knows what TRQ. I’ll keep everyone posted. 😁

My question is... if I break the transmission, can I throw a ZF8HP750 from a Hellcat on my car and be good or is it too larger/different mounting to the engine?

Won't work. It's too big plus BMW electronics are highly integrated. You can't even swap in a new ZF 8AT without coding the DME and TCM.

You'd best have a lot of money laying around for a ZF replacement as the ZF 8AT in the 2 series isn't up to the task of those levels of torque over the long term (HP is meaningless to a transmission, it's the torque). The 6MT would have been a much better choice for that level of power.

zf recommended to me to change oil on the box and reset adaptations every 25000-30000 miles when modded with stage 2 and a ps2 to increase longevity of the box. the only defect my local zf dealer has seen is on a car that tried to do a 10min long burn out and destroyed the torque converter

I’ve seen clutch and torque converter upgrades for it. Might be worth looking into at some point.
