New to the TWO club!
Bought one today, great little car for the wife's DD.
Patience paid off, found one optioned with everything I was looking for, other than the lighting package Specs: 2016 228 XDrive 14,872 miles Mineral White Cold Weather Package Driving Assistance Package Premium Package Technology Package Navigation system Sport Line Dakota Leather w/ Coral Red Accent 18"Style 384's Harman/Kardon I've been a BMW owner for a longtime. Some of you may remember a few of my previous cars over at different forums: I took the leap to the other German side for my DD. It's nice, fast....but it will NEVER be a BMW! Driving the 228i back from NY made me realize how much I really missed a BMW! |

Congrats on your new 228i ! Really appreciated your high quality photos...the 2019 230i xDrive I'll be picking up in several weeks, albeit in Mediterrean Blue, has same Black Leather/Red trim/Stitching. Best photos of that I've seen yet!

Thanks! Congrats on your soon to be as well! The black and red stitch looks just perfect IMHO. We thought we were going with white with a red interior. That changed rather quickly. Looking at cars with 20-40K for miles, the red looked so dingy. I think the novelty of a red interior may grow old. This seems to be the best of both worlds, just enough red to make it look classy/sporty. Looking to get a trunk lip spoiler and change the kidneys to black, get a tune. Any links that anyone can provide on reputable sources to save me some digging through threads would be helpful. |

Just curious to get your thoughts on the S4 vs a BMW. What is it about a BMW that you miss so much compared to the Audi?

2) The build. Shut a BMW door, shut an Audi door. The little creaks and rattles. The Audi isn't as solid as the BMW. The BMW is built like a tank in comparison When i was looking to replace my E39 5 series, I thought I'd jump into a newer 5 series. The thing was a BOAT! I felt the BMW seemed a bit dated with the interior as well. Since my wife had an E90 coupe at the time, I didn't want another three series. I stumbled across the s4, took it for a test drive and loved it. Super fast, great interior. The S4 does alot of thing really well. They just can't get that extra star to get to BMW status. As my friend says, it's a glorified VW. I hate when he says that but that sums it up..... |

BMW still makes the narrowest range of vehicles of all the major manufacturers just cars and motorcycles.
VW, being the largest, makes the widest range, from trucks to the latest Bugatti at 10M. |
