K-Mac camber adjustable bushings (PN 193616-8H) will get you a decent amount of camber now too. I was able to get -1.8deg with my xDrive car.

I just ordered a set of Lemforder TS and replacement fasteners from https://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/. Appears to be one of a few sites affiliated with 3rd party German OE manufacturers.

Haven't used them before but will report back when I get them. Total price with shipping to US was $298 USD.

I couldn't find the Lemforder arms available anywhere in US after hours of searching. Cheapest I found was ECS @ 179.99 each for genuine BMW, $406 shipped with hardware.

I ordered these exact spacers to pair with them.

I did a hard braking test on the highway today and my stock TS bushings are done. Not surprising after 75k, but I'm keen to see brake feel and wheel placement improvements. Will report back after install.

Lemforder LCAs and Tension Struts

Any updates on getting the Lemforder parts from https://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/
Shipped to the States.
Will not allow to search from manufacturer's part numbers.
Any duty and if so how much?
What about the Lemforder parts themselves?

They're in transit from Germany as we speak via DHL. Still to be seen if I'll have any duty assessed. From what I gather from CBP's website, if the items are for personal use and are valued under $800 they usually won't have a duty. We'll see how it goes.

I don't think they sell BMW stamped parts so you'll need the Lemforder numbers which can be found in their online catalog. 38257 01 and 38256 01 are the right and left arms.

Lemforder is an OE manufacturer for BMW, quality is either as good or better than the genuine stamped parts.

Yup, <$800 is duty free. I just had a set of dampers delivered to me yesterday from Germany that was ~$700. No duty required.

My TS' made it in from Germany today, no duty assessed. As I suspected, they came with a box labeled AutoDoc which is the main distributor for a ton of these European online parts websites. For anyone curious about onlinecarparts.co.uk, they check out. Parts are still sealed from the Lemforder factory. I'll be throwing these on this weekend most likely and I'll be back with my last update then.

So my install got postponed until after I returned from the Caymans. Install was a breeze, I used the following tools: Impact gun with 17mm (wheel bolts), 21mm (ball joint nut), and 18mm (subframe bolt), 8mm (fender liner screws), 18mm ratcheting spanner, rubber mallet, torque wrench, jack and stands.

The passenger side had a battery lead snaked right around the subframe bolt as well as the auxiliary radiator which prevented me from using the impact but the 18mm spanner with a 19mm on the end as a cheater got it out easily. Impact gun made quick work of the sometimes stubborn 21mm hub nut and the set on the other side. F80 Arms and spacers had a nice snug fit, I used the 18mm spanner and mallet to align the second larger spacer into place. Torqued down hub bolts and then loaded the suspension with the jack to torque the subframe bolts. Pretty easy install.

First driving impressions are great, front end feels much tighter on response and over bumps. Wheel is pulled away from the fender liner and ride height increased about 1/4-1/2 inch. I installed new pads while I had it up so braking feel improvement is to be seen until they are bedded.

For anyone curious about Lemforder parts, they are cast from the same molds as the BMW stamped parts. You can see where they scrubbed off the M\\\ logo on mine.

Thanks for the great work and thread very helpful.

I’m running M4 255/35/19 tyres and Wheels. At the moment I’ve got no issues and tyre top is more or less flush with the arch.

Anyone tried this full setup with M3/4 wheels?

Nice, that's a $100+ savings and has gotta be a good 0.25g weight savings per corner!

Not sure if anyone was aware but there's also another option from Turner with their Turner Motorsport Thrust Arm Monoball Upgrade - Pre-installed Arms - F8x M2/M3/M4. Definitely more costly currently @ $643.10 but they've got upgraded sealed ball joint monoballs.

They also sell the monoball bearing set if your TS bushings blew out.

Too rich for me but something I came across when researching LCAs & TS and thought I'd share.

just placed my order for lemforder TS and LCA from onlinecarparts.co.uk. They have a sale going on right now so I ended up getting all 4 arms for my F30 for $400 shipped. A lot better than the $1000 shipped I was about to spend on OEM M3 LCA and Turner Monoball pre installed TS from ECS.

The PNs I ordered are below.

Lemforder 38256 01
Lemforder 38257 01
Lemforder 38258 01
Lemforder 38259 01

Now I just need to order the spacers or probably have them made at my job.

Correct me if I am wrong but its the spacers below for the TS.

spacers from Summit Racing:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/KYS-100-377-3 2x
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/KYS-100-377-1 2x

People have mentioned using 2mm spacers on each side as well for the LCAs? So 4x 2mm spacers?

Also, does anyone have the PN for the necessary headlight leveling rod that is needed to use the F8x TS/LCAs?

So if you get the F8x tension struts, it's still a good idea to get the power flex bushings and spacers???

That or just get the turner Motorsport tension strut? I'm assuming those won't need the bushings or spacers??

Can you mix the F8x LCA and Turner TS together?

Thanks

Absolutely you can miss match where you're getting it. The 1mm spacers for the TS is recommended but not needed. The LCA is required. Also the power flex option would be a good bang on top, but personally I didn't do it as I don't track often. Also, not 100% sure that it's much better than ball bearings, some people say it is.
