[Luke Warmwater]

I have encountered a popping noise coming from the speakers during engine start. Has happened three or four times in the past three weeks. The car has the HK audio system. Had a similar problem on a previous vehicle after installing an after market stereo system. Had something to do with a resister not functioning, allowing an electrical surge to manifest itself as the above mentioned popping sound. Sound is similar to someone tapping on a window quickly three or four times. Only occurs as the engine is being started. Anyone else experienced this? If so, what was the fix?
