Changing fake sound (ASD) M235i -> M4
I thought it would be fun to see what the m4 sounds like for a day.
I tried on bimmercode to change model=f080, engine=s55b30 and it disabled the active sound. Changing back to f022, n55 fixes it. Anyone know how to get this work? I've read lots of threads where people say you need pre 2015 firmware (which i assume my 2014 car has???) I can figure out esys if necessary. I'm not going to lose sleep over this mod but my curiosity is killing me. I wanna know what it sounds like xD Cheers |

You could downgrade but no idea if the car will even allow it or what issues you could have Also it was pretty bad anyway. It was really loud |

Ok thanks, I won’t waste any more time on this. I think I’ll stick with the stock m235i sound profile.

Old thread but new question:
Are there any adjustments available with the ASD volume or is it just on/off with coding? Sounds like tone is only available to older firmware versions. Just curious because the car is too quiet with it off and too annoying with it on. |
