Thinking of going camber plates along with Swift Thrust Sheets. On OEM springs do I need 60 65 or 70 mm sheets? I believe they need to match the inner diameter of the spring.

Thanks.

I think they are much bigger than that.. Maybe for coilovers but i dont think those will fit OEM style . best to find the measurement to be sure.. 85mm ?

Measure it and let us know....Thrust sheets are typically for coilover springs only.

Any updates on these? Would love to see what people are thinking about these after the changes dinan made? Were your problems resolved?

Interested in these. How are the redesigned plates? Any issues?
Thanks!

I installed my revised Dinan plates at the end of November. My initial plates had progressively worsened from a gentle rattle to a loud clunking. They new plates were much quieter but the rattle was still very apparent. As before, the noise has gotten progressively worse.

I apologize for not providing an immediate update, but I wanted to make sure there was not an install problem (I did it myself). At my 30000 mile service, I had my BMW dealer (also a Dinan dealer) inspect the suspension. Everything was tight. The plates are clearly the culprit.

I will be removing the plates as soon as my tires are gone. I loved having square 255 setup and a couple of degrees of camber at the track, but I can't stand having my BMW sound like a worn out 20 year old car anymore. I will go a square 235 setup. Hopefully I can get 235s on the front...

oh that is disappointing. Did Dinan get back to you about the cause?

Confirmed that 235/40/18 will work with no sweat, on an 18x8.5 et45 wheel. Test fitted my buddies ARC8's before deciding on a size/brand and they were wrapped in 235/40/18 Cup2's which are pretty "meaty" tires.

Sucks to hear about the whole experience, this crap can get expensive too when it's being done by a shop. Hopefully we see some updates/revisions that further fix the "issue". I do know a lot of people out there who have noisy camber plates, but they're about half the cost of what our F22 options go for, so I could understand that, oh and the cars they're driving are worth less than most of our rim/tire packages, so yeah..

That's unfortunate and I'm sorry to hear it. This is the first any of us in the building have heard of any problems on the new revised plates however. Our local test cars and our shop cars (340i and M2 with the same bearings) have had the revised ones in for quite some time and we haven't had any noise issues with any of them so the comment comes as a bit of a surprise. I would encourage you to reach out to warranty/tech support to see if they can help resolve the issue or ascertain what may be causing it.

Dinan, can these camber plates be used with aftermarket coilovers, such as KW's V2?
Thanks.

As long as the coil over setup in question is compatible with the stock bearing hat (Same OD spring as stock) then our camber plates should work fine with the kit.

We talking about version 2, not the original ones.
