M sport springs part number
I just bought a 230i that came with M sport track handling package but it came with Dinan springs. Does anyone knows the part number for the M stock coil springs?
What other BMW model are they interchangeable? Last edited by thielepr; 01-16-2022 at 07:30 PM.. |

The spring part number has to be obtained from the BMW Spring Table, which is within the BMW ETK. The springs for your car are dependent on the weight of the specific equipment installed. The best way to find out what your car had originally is to give your VIN to a dealer and have them look up your specific spring configuration from the ETK.

They could be the same springs for a lightly optioned 430i vs a heavily optioned 230i, they match the springs to the weight of the car on each axle. |

It is a multi-step process for them to read out the springs part numbers, so possible operator error as opposed to differences between the ETK used at each dealer. You could phone a couple more dealers, give them the VIN and see if you get any more consistent part numbers.
