will it work .. 18.8.5 / 9.5 +35

So I did a thing and bought my dream set of wheels!

The whole time I was thinking I can put some spacers to make the offset work, but was I wrong?

Advan Racing GT's - 18.8.5 / 9.5 +35

I hope I can make these work... :S

Thanks in advance!

They should work with stock 225/40-18 front and 245/35-18 rear tyres. For wider tyres, pulling the fenders, reshaping the wheel well liner and/or adding camber with camber plates will likely be necessary.

Spacers will only make the clearance issues worse, so won’t be needed. Stock offset is 45mm front, 52mm rear, so a 10mm spacer on an ET35mm wheel will make the offset 25mm.

Thanks for the reply and confirming!!

I made the mistake of thinking 35+10mm spacer = 45, not until the wheels were enroute I realised my math was off..

That's a outstanding choice of wheel you've made. As aerobod has indicated, they can be made to work.

Don't forget to post photos once you have them on your car!

I am considering a set of wheels that are 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 (front/rear), both 35 offset.

I'm currently stock but will eventually be installing Dinan springs.

How did this setup work for you? What tire sizes if so? Obviously ideally would run 45 offset in back but I just can't find a setup that I like. Slim pickings right now, lots of wheels on backorder.

Nice! What tires sizes did you end up with? Any rubbing? Are you stock or lowered?
