Question ISTA configuration error message IFH-0035

Hello there

I've got my coding working with e-sys, but not yet the diagnosis with ISTA. I use a ethernet interface, the same as for coding.

I can start ISTA and I can also access the repair manuals and so on, but I'm not able to start the connection to my M235.

ISTA will show the VIN of my car in the connection manager, but when I click on "Set up Connection", then I receive the following error message.

The Vehicle could not be identified sucessfully. Check vehicle interface and 'PAD active'.
Detail: IFH-0035: Configuration Error.

Version ISTA 4.30.14

Version according ReleaseNotes.txt

Aktuelle Version:
-----------------------------------------
PSdZ: 5.11.03
ProDiaS: 3.7.1 (Releasenotes: https://atc.bmwgroup.net/jira/secure...version=116356)
KIS-AL-API: 5.11.50

I hope somebody can help me with connecting ISTA to my M235
If required I also got a few screenshots or we could even do some screensharing.

btw: Search for the error message did not result in any viable solution.

Hello, I try to pop this up again. I didn't find a solution so far. Until now I was able to use apps to read fault codes, but I would like to also use ISTA for reading the fault codes and all of the values available from the sensors. No programming needed.
Anybody available for some help?

For those who have the same issue, in the meanwhile I was able to solve it.
I have INPA and ISTA installed on the Laptop and therefore 2 EDIABAS folders exist. I renamed the EDIABAS folder for INPA to EDIABAS.old and afterwards it worked.
I found this info here: https://www.bimmerfest.com/threads/b....936877/page-2

(I hope Link to bimmerfest is ok, otherwise I can remove)
