Stage 2 Spark Plugs and Gap

What up,

Just bought a new set of NGK 94201 spark plugs. For anyone running a Stage 2 or higher tunes on a stock turbo…. what’s the preferred gap? Anyone experimented with 0.030, 0.028, 0.22 etc?

for stage 2+ on my 240i i gapped .023, .022 i saw recommended i did an extra .001 for the increased positive initial start up and idle. i’d recommend atleast .024 for stage 2.

Edit: Though i did run over 1k miles on stage 2 on the stock gap and stock plugs with 0 issues from WOT runs to initial start up.

My 240 is STG II+.. run the factory set gap. No reason to change it with a stock turbo.

I’m leaning towards stock as well from I’ve been reading.

Stock 100% the oem coil setup is better than lots of aftermarket setups for other cars. You want the widest gap you can get without issue for better Combustion anyway.. tightening it only if you are having issues with the spark being blown out.
