AA exhaust for the 230i

There aren't many videos of the AA exhaust on the 230/330 and im curios to hear what that sounds like. I know some of you have AA axleback installed on your 2ers and wondering if you could post up some videos.

Im debating between the M Performance exhaust for the 328/428 or the AA exhaust.

I have a sportline so switching to a dual exhaust (m235) is not an option because I want to switch the bumper.

I appreciate any exhaust videos or reviews of the AA on the 230i.

Thanks

Roman

AA exhaust

They are out of stock found out yesterday.

Thinking of doing a resonator delete with the stock muffler and go from there.

After more research probably not.

I just installed my AA exhaust last weekend. I do have to say that it sounds great imo. The instructions could be a little better as the 2 brackets they give you are not labeled on which one goes on which side and the spot to cut the stock pipe is also hard to measure correctly. I ended up having to cut the pipe a couple of times to get the fit just right. All said and done the stock pipe is cut as the indent and the directions could probably just say that. I would like to give a shoutout to Mike at Extremely Powerhouse for the great price on this and the ability to take the order even when AA's website still says they are sold out. This was well worth the wait.

Just installed mine today. The distance to cut the pipe is wrong and it took me several tries to get the location of the brackets correct. They should label the brackets and provide better instructions/pictures. Also for the tools need it a pipe cutter (Free Loaner at Auto Zone) can be added for DIY

Seems like one pipe is lower than the other but I need to do some final adjustments. Other than that the clamp bolts worn me out but happy that is done.

glad to hear the installs are generally going well. does anyone have pics of the installs, and specifically which brackets go where?

i've been swamped the last two weeks, so have not had a chance to get my AA axle-back installed yet.

also, i assume you guys are just zip-tying the the exhaust actuator electrical connector up underneath somewhere?

I used the bracket with the hanger on the end for the right side on the pipe and the one with the hanger more in the middle for the left side by the exhaust tips. I assume this is correct since the fit is good. The exhaust had a spot to screw the unused valve to so I didn't need to zip tie it up. I can get photos if it would help.

Hey man; i want to do the muffler delete. Is it worth doing? Will it cause problems with warranty? Im on a lease. Am i able to use the original tips? If i cant use the original, where do i buy them for the best price? I want ones that look like stock if i cant use stock
