Hey Silverbeet - What a looker! Love the wheels - I've got those coming on my 220 too. Speaking of which, expecting it mid-March, assuming it makes one of the 2 ships leaving Bremerhaven this week. Fingers crossed.

One question for you - assuming you test drove a car without the 18 inch wheels (the 17 inch being standard on the sport line) is the ride any different on these ones?

I actually did test drive a 220i with 18 inch wheels. tbh 17 and 18 inch rims have little to no difference in performance that would be noticeable, is that what you are asking?

Mostly just curious in regard to ride quality and road noise. When I test drove, I had a 220i but it had the M-Sport package (18 inch), so I figured the ride between that and a 220i sport optioned with 18 inch wheels (as in your wheels) would be very similar. But enough abut that - how are you enjoying it? Are you easing into it, or have you succumbed to giving it some herbs?

it's a brilliant car! you will love it (especially under sport mode)! it's fairly quiet on the road comparing to the 220d I test drove.

I didn't have the patience to wait for a new car, took a demo with 5yr free service & a reasonable amount of discount. just wish it had xenon fitted but otherwise very happy!

the only mod i'm considering at the moment is the headlight, the yellow halogen lights just look ridiculously hideous!

Looks really good with the CR leather too...

Tinting was done by Bon Vivant Automotive Car in Port Melb - darkest legal, they also applied Modesta paint protection to the paint, wheels/brake calipers/tail pipes (to make them easier to clean).

Just thought I'd join in... Ordered my 235 in mid Jan, scheduled to arrive end of March, delivery in early April.

Alpine White
Manual
Sunroof
Harman/Kardon Sound System
M Performance Carbon Spoiler
M Performance Side Decal
M Performance Steering Wheel (Flat Bottom and Display)
Aftermarket Matt Black 19x8.5 +40 wheels -

Haven't bought tyres yet, I wanted to put Advan Neova's on but the size I wanted isn't coming to Australia anymore apparantly so I may have to go to Super Sports...

Also probably going to add the M Performance Front Splitter & Side Blades

I'm so freaking excited to put it bluntly.

Hey Dave, could you do me a favor and take photos of all the m performance accessories on the car?

I'm very torn on the wheels. What are you getting? the 405M or 403M? Both look like a nightmare to clean.

They are actually 624M - even harder to clean! The standard wheels are fine but annoying that they are the same as the 135 and only 18.

Got it on the weekend!

Love the power delivery and it sounds awesome - esp in sport mode. The exhaust sounds great from outside I am wondering if I need the performance exhaust. Steering a bit light, but it's still early days.

Coming from a Z4M, the 235 is super refined and comfortable.

Enjoy the pics! Some of the performance parts. I don't have the rear diffuser or the CF mirrors.

Nicely done Dave! Any reason why you didn't install the CF selector console trim? It's a nice piece to complete the internal CF lot.
