Have 2019 with NBT EVOID6, supposedly should be able mirror my iPhone 12's screen, however there is no option (to) visible on either the device or the iDrive....

No Iphone screen mirroring only Android. BMW only supports Miracast for screen mirroring. I know what video you are taking about and it is fake. Only way to mirror Iphone is jailbreaking and using Carplay + Carbridge. 2 series do not come with screen mirroring enabled but you can code it in.

Yes, iDrive 7 capability is not available on the outgoing 2-series. Not really any reason BMW would make a major systems upgrade unless it was a new model or a midlife LCI change. The new 2-series has it.

If you have nbt evo id6 and a iphone. Maybe you can activate CarPlay. But ScreenMirroring, not.
