You might be best off calling someone like Thompson BMW (local-ish to you) who sells Apex, HRE, Vorsteiner, etc. on-site at the dealership. I've gotten Apex wheels 2x from them, Vorsteiner once, and help with tire sizes (unconventional for a variety of reasons that were right for my cars). I have no idea how you'd search for other dealers that are closer who do the same sort of thing, maybe check with Apex directly for example and ask them for a list of BMW vendors nearby?
You can get input on a variety of different brands that way, and if you order through the dealer (or even on their advice) if something gets screwy you have someone to fix it for you with no brain damage personally. I am reasonably intelligent and do math for a living (I'm in M&A) but wheel and tire math is horribly confusing and the 2-series is an odd car to fit, so I have zero trust in myself and must rely on an expert.
