I am working a deal on a 2015 M235. The car was originally leased out of NC, and since being turned in on the lease has bounced around from dealer to dealer without selling for almost a year and 4 months.

It was most recently at a BMW dealership in TN where it was listed as a BMW CPO car. It was purchased driven to Kentucky and then sold to a local Nissan Dealership where its sitting now.

I am taking it to a BMW dealership in town next week for a PPI. Car just turned 50k so no factory warranty, and its my understanding that the CPO wont transfer, but its listed at a really competitive price so its sitll worth a look.

Anything specific I should look at given the amount of time the car has been on the lot? Oil change is a given once its mine, anything else?

I am coming from an 06 E46 ZHP, so this will be a huge upgrade. Pretty excited but also want to make sure I am being careful and getting into a good car.

Nice. I am going to miss the ZHP and the six speed, love the car just don't have the time / skill to work on it myself and it needs some TLC.

I' sure the 70ft/lb of extra torque on the N55 will make me forget about it pretty quickly lol.

I honestly prefer the new one to the old one aside from the steering rack. The old one is fun in a work at it / slow car fast sort of way. New (especially w Dinan S2) is a bit more of a blunt instrument, put your foot into it and hold on.

TBH I wouldn't be looking for a ZHP if I didn't already have one. Since I do have one it's fun to drive now and again but the new car is better in every way.

Well put. Plus this way I get to replace valve cover gaskets and oil filter housing gaskets all over again!

You would think BMW would learn.
