How to disassemble 3rd brake light?

Hello, I am trying to remove the third brake light, but can not find the way to do it. The light is glued to the glass or is there another way to remove it?

(2 series Coupé 2015)

This is the part that I want to disassemble ↓

I'm going from memory here but there are 2 plastic clips around the area that I circled which either pull out or slide out. Once the clips are out, the entire assembly should come free.

Okk thanks! I'll try it
If I can't, I will try to make a more detailed picture of the area that you told me.

You pull the square tabs to the drver and passenger side of the car... Mine were very hard to get snapped out... Took a good bit of force...

Did you complete and perfect the look? Or are you still in the process?

I have already done, the only 'problem' is that only you can see if you look from the side, if you look right from behind the logo is not visible.

You should consider the BimmerPost App its convenient and easy to use. Makes it easy to upload pictures and stay connected with fellow 2'ers.

Sorry for the hijacking lolz, got carried away. Question: Is the top mounted brake light an LED light or regular halogen/incandescent? (I'm still waiting for my car from Germany so no idea here)
