Square 255s without camber plates?

Looking to run a more aggressive summer setup next season and trying to understand if 255’s all around is achievable without camber plates up front.

I will be having a set of wheels built so have full flexibility over offsets and widths.

Car is xDrive on KW DDCs, Dinan F&R roll-bars, and VAC Motorsport thrust arms. Front strut to tire clearance on stock wheels w/ 225 PS4s = ~17mm. Prefer not to use spacers.

Are 255s on 19x8.5 ET35 achievable/ the way to go without camber plates? Thanks all.

Did you ever get an answer or try this? Curious if it worked/works.

Never got a response. Will be ordering my wheels soon, probably going with ET38 all the way around just to be safe and will buy single tires in the spring and test fit 245s vs 255s

Running 245/35/18 square on my x drive m240i let me know if 255 works out for you

This is not of any help but Im doing the same this spring (17x9 ARC-8R setup and ordering 1 tire to test fit 255).

Unfortunately the tolerances with our cars are so low theres never any guarantee beyond the tried and true setups.

I hope to run the same 245 square, but reading through this forum gives me many mixed opinions on what is required to do this. Do you mind my asking what wheel sizes you are running, and if you are otherwise stock?

I'd love to run 235x40 square on 18x8 or 8.5, but again, so many mixed results...just can't stomach running 225s on the rear, even though it's well-documented to fit....

This might be a good read for you if you haven't seen it already.

I would be disappointed if I end up having to run 235's, hoping at the very least to be on 245's all around
